Kauri Big Splash 2018

Today, all of the senior school went to the pool to have our Kauri big splash. In the big splash you have to choose at least one fun race to go in. There was the Bucket race where you have to hold a bucket upside down and run to the other end of the pool, the seal race where you put a ball in the water and then use your nose to get it to the other end, the competitive freestyle where you have to do free style to the other end of the pool, the competitive backstroke where you do backstroke to the other end of the pool, the noodle tow where two people try to get the noodle to the other end of the pool, the under and over relay where all of the classes line up in the pool and put a ball under and over them and the first class that reaches the end of the pool wins, the class relay where two girls and two boys from each class do freestyle to the other end of the pool and then they tag the person waiting for them at that end, and finally, the clothes race where a team of 8 kids and they have to put a shirt on and swim to the other end and give it to your team mate.
Overall it was a really fun day.
