Reflection Of My Last Year At Owairaka School

My last year at Owairaka has been really fun because we did lots of cool things like camp, I liked camp because it gave us challenges that we could do and it gave us the chance to hang out with our friends.

Another highlight of the year was Rainbows End, most of the senior school went to Rainbows End because they did road patrol in the mornings or the afternoons and that was their reward. Rainbows End was really fun because I hadn't been there in a long time and when I did go, I was too scared to go on the really fun rides like the Stratosphere or the Coca Cola Cork Screw Roller coaster.

I found camp quite challenging because it was supposed to be, it was also a bit scary when I was about to have my first go on the Go Karts, and the confidence course was really challenging too because you had to go on these three hard levels and try to not fall into the water underneath you, and I'm pretty sure that only 1 person finished the hardest course.

I made quite a lot of new friends this year because and my friends and I stopped playing soccer and started to play a new game called man hunt, and when we got bored of man hunt we started playing handball a lot and that's what we do now.

I am quite excited about next year because most of the year sixes from last year are going to be there and I will probably know most of the people there. But a lot of my friends are going to different schools and so I won't see them as much.

I'm not really sure what job I am going to do when I grow up but I want to have one that gives me a lot of money so I can feed my family.

I would tell next years Room 23 students to be good so you don't lose any of your play time (Which was a highlight of this year).

                                      GOODBYE OWAIRAKA PRIMARY SCHOOL!
